IBC Convo Seminar 2013

We are pleased to announce the upcoming seminar event entile “ONE MASTER, THREE TRADITIONS OF MEDITATION.”  which will be held on 3rd August 2013. This seminar is jointly orgainzed by The International Buddhist College (IBC), Thailand, Than Hsiang Temple,Penang 

and Shah Alam Buddhist Society, Selangor.

This one-day seminar provides you an unique opportunity to learn about the nature and methodology of Buddhist meditation from its very early sources as well as gaining an insight into the more contemporary and popular forms of meditation practiced by followers of all three Buddhist traditions today.

As such, this seminar will not only be useful for students indulging in serious study  of Buddhism in particular students of the IBC and those pursuing certificated courses on Buddhism, but also for practitioners to enhance knowledge of their current meditation practices. This is in line with the Buddha’s advice to his disciples to master the three stages in our spiritual growth: study (pariyatti), practice (paṭipatti) and realization (paṭivedha) of the Dharma.
